Entertainment Licence 

If you are holding any of the following activities in Coventry City Centre you will require an events licence which must be applied for 28 days in advance of the date of the event. This allows time for the application to go before the Safety advisory group for approval. No consideration will be given to applications given with less than 28 days notice.

Retail sale or supply of alcohol

Performance of a play

Exhibition of a film

Indoor sporting events

Boxing or wrestling events

A performance of live music

A performance of dance

Provision of facilities for making music

Provision of facilities for dancing

Promotion & Leafleting Application Form

To distribute leaflets in Coventry City Centre an application has to be submitted 10 days prior to the date of the event. This allows time for checking details and issuing the licence(s).

Busker Licence Application Form - Coventry City Centre

Licence applications can only be considered between 7th January & 20th January and will be issued at the end of January. 

There are currently 4 Busking positions within the City Centre which can be identified from the Buskers map with a total of 16 licences being issued.
