What's On in Coventry & Warwickshire

From world class entertainment, open air concerts, huge outdoor Olympic screens, cultural festivals, city centre events, continental markets and a plethora of music, dance and nostalgic invitation; Coventry & Warwickshire confidently embraces its status as the only place you can find such a wide variety of activity right at the heart of the country.

Coventry Rhythm Weekend was held over the Spring Bank Holiday of the 27th - 30th May, incorporating and extending the existing remit of Coventry Jazz Festival including a more varied scope of music. Venues across the City were involved with key gigs taking place at The Belgrade, Taylor Johns House and The Biggin Hall pub. As has been the pedigree of Coventry Jazz Festival, Coventry Rhythm Weekend will continue to bring established and rising music stars to the city.

Coventry is also well known for one of the countries most successful and mainstream free family festivals in the UK, the Godiva Festival, was held over the weekend 2nd - 4th July. This year's record breaking crowd saw 90,000 visitors enjoy fantastic weather with free music and entertainment. Chart topping acts ASH, Martin Fry (from ABC), The Christians and local talent Hazel O'Connor, as well as Joshua Radin, Kid Creole and the Coconuts and Tiffany Page rocked the stage in what turned out to be an electrifying weekend of free music and family entertainment.
