What's On in Coventry & Warwickshire
From world class entertainment, open air concerts, huge outdoor Olympic screens, cultural festivals, city centre events, continental markets and a plethora of music, dance and nostalgic invitation; Coventry & Warwickshire confidently embraces its status as the only place you can find such a wide variety of activity right at the heart of the country.
Coventry Rhythm Festival, held over the Spring Bank Holiday on the 27th - 30th May, will incorporate and extend the existing remit of Coventry Jazz Festival to include a more varied scope of music. The festival will feature: jazz, soul, blues, funk, Latin, Asian and other world music in addition to singer/songwriters. Venues across the City will be involved with key gigs which will take place at The Belgrade, St Mary's Hall, Taylor Johns House, The Biggin Hall and other city centre locations. As has been the pedigree of Coventry Jazz Festival, Coventry Rhythm Weekend will continue to bring established and rising music stars to the city, dates locations and artists to follow soon...
Coventry is also well known for one of the countries most successful and mainstream free family festivals in the UK, the ultimate Godiva Festival, which last year had a record breaking weekend with over 85,000 visitors turning up to enjoy the free music and entertainment. Following this success the 2010 Festival is scheduled for the 2nd - 4th July.
